Born on October 5, 1955, Eddie was a lifelong resident of West Brighton, Staten Island. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He worked for 35 years as a truck driver for Murphy Trucking and NY Paving and was a proud member of Teamsters Local 282.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol (née Iasiuolo); his two sons, Denis and Edward; and his sister, Susan Pellegrino. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many cherished nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
Eddie was predeceased by his parents, Denis Daniel Donovan and Marie B. Donovan, and by his parents-in-law, Jack and Maria Iasiuolo.
Eddie will be remembered for his generous heart and his willingness to help anyone in need. He was a simple and good man who loved his family deeply. He will remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
