Ed was born on April 25th, 1949 to Ellen Lyons and Edward Hicks. He is survived by his wife Alice Anne (McGowan) of 47 years, son Tim and Keri (Hall), granddaughters Sophia and Catherine, sister Mary Ellen Molokie and Brother Billy.
Ed graduated from Manhattan College in 1973 and worked as a Civil Engineer for the Port Authority of NY/NJ.
Ed was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved watching his granddaughter Sophia play softball and attending Catherine’s dance recitals. He loved all sports, especially the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.
