

Born in Queens, Mr. Sisson lived in Brooklyn before settling in Meiers Corners in 1995 with his wife of 31 years, the former Shellye Osofsky.
A maintenance worker in Local 32BJ, Mr. Sisson retired in 2002.
A considerate neighbor who loved spending time in the outdoors, Mr. Sisson enjoyed simply sitting on the deck of his home. He also relished quality time with his grandchildren.
In speaking of her father, Mr. Sisson's daughter, Tracy McCarthy, said, "My dad was a fabulous grandpa and a loving and caring babysitter to all his granddaughters."
His daughter, Lori Sisson, added, "My father was an awesome dad."
Mr. Sisson was a parishioner of St. Teresa's R.C. Church, Castleton Corners.
In addition to his wife, Shellye and daughters, Tracy and Lori, Mr. Sisson is survived by four granddaughters.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Teresa's Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
