Eileen A. Twohy

Eileen was born at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY on July 23, 1937. She was raised in Sunset Park and attended St. Michael's Parish R.C. Church and school. She attended Fontebonne Hall Academy for high school and continued her education at Hunter College.

She and her beloved husband of 45 years, John P. Twohy, moved to Staten Island in 1970. Eileen was a long time parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. where her three children attended school. Eileen taught CCD at Sacred Heart for many years and was a long time advocate for Right to Life.

Eileen was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and Grandmother to her family. She is preceded by her parents James and Susan Brady (Flynn), her husband John (2011) and her brother in law James Twohy.

She is survived by her children, sons John (Karrie Schwartz) and James and her daughter Susannah (Joseph Howard); her three grandchildren Joseph V, John Paul and Astrid, her brother James Brady and his wife Lynne (Berryman) as well as her sisters in law Kate Twohy and Anne Stubbs.

A visitation for Eileen will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.

A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 981 Castleton Ave, New York, NY 10310.

A committal service will occur Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at Holy Cross Mausoleum East, Cranbury - South River Rd, Jamesburg, NJ 08831.
