STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Elizabeth Gilmore, 73, of Willowbrook, a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her six grandchildren, died Monday in the Eger Health Care Rehabilitation Center, Egbertville, where she had been a resident for the past three weeks.
Born Elizabeth Bradford in Brooklyn, she moved to Willowbrook three years ago.
A homemaker, Mrs. Gilmore loved to socialize and enjoyed spending time with her friends from the Elizabeth Manor Homes in Willowbrook, going shopping and attending luncheons. Most of all, Mrs. Gilmore treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Her husband of 53 years, Daniel Nicholas, died in 2007, and her son, Daniel Gilmore, died in 2005.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Tucker and Bernadette Bellocchio; six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be tomorrow from the Virginia Funeral Chapel, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s R.C. Church, both in Dongan Hills. Arrangements include cremation
