Betty was a life-long resident of Staten Island. Born to Jack and Augusta Stoll on September 20th, 1948, she was raised on Grymes Hill. Betty graduated Curtis High School and continued her education at the College of Staten Island. Her first endeavor in business was a flower shop, Betty's Bloomers, which she operated out of the old Richmond College. She soon after became a fixture in the antiques world as both a collector and a vendor. Betty went on to a long career as an independent Staten Island real estate broker, and was a fixture in the West Brighton community.
Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, Tom; her four sons and daughter-in-laws, Eric and Danielle, Brian and Rachel, Jay and Claudia and Jared and Sara; as well as her sister, Susan Villepigue and her brother John Stoll. Her 11 cherished grandchildren are Christopher, Meghan, Jamie, Thomas, Ryan, Ayden, Summer, Abigail, Liam, Mia and Kieran.
Betty was a devoted wife and matriarch who loved hosting holidays with her extended family. She was proud of her four sons and their families and adored her eleven grandchildren. She enjoyed many years summering with her family at their oceanfront house in the Outer Banks, N.C. and finally found her peaceful spot vacationing on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.
