Florence Camarca

Florence was a native Staten Islander and grew up in New Brighton She graduated from Curtis High School. She worked as a Church Secretary for Our Savior Lutheran Church and as an Administrative Secretary for First American Insurance Co. NYC, then later returning to work on Staten Island in the purchasing department at The College of Staten Island where she retired from. Florence was very involved in the Parent Teachers Association of the schools her children attended. She is survived by her Son Paul of New Brighton Daughter Beth and son in Law Patrick Linn of Bridgewater NJ. She was Predeceased by her Husband Joseph in 1997.Florence enjoyed traveling when she could especially to the Caribbean and to Booth Bay Harbor Maine. She loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends she also enjoyed reading romance novels dinner parties and trips with her Red Hat Sisters. She is also survived by her Brother John Huey and Sister In law Carol of Tottenville, Sister In law Arlene Huey of Walnut Creek CA, Joann Koutras of Mariners Harbor, Celeste Bell of Morehead City NC, Marie Jachkowiski of Millsboro DE and all her loving Nieces and Nephews.
