Frances Pitonzo

Frances (Faye) Ann Pitonzo, 95, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2021. Faye was born on September 22, 1925, in Staten Island, New York, to the late Angelo and Rose Calamito, and was a 75-year resident of Staten Island. She married the late Frank Pitonzo in 1952. Those left to cherish her memory include her son Richard Pitonzo and his wife, Cindy Pitonzo of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; her son, David Pitonzo and his wife Beth Pitonzo of Oak Ridge, North Carolina; and six grandchildren, Ricky, Michael, Christina, Jesse, Victoria and Frankie Pitonzo. She also has many loving nieces, nephews and cousins who will always remember the impact she had on their lives. Faye was known for her love of the theater, big band music and a good martini. She was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, 981 Castleton Avenue, Staten Island. A grave site service and interment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery on Staten Island
