It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Francesco, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on 10/15/2024 at the age of [75].
Francesco was born in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, a place that always held a special place in his heart. On June 18, 1972, he married his beloved Caterina, and together they shared over 50 years of love and partnership.
For more than five decades, Francesco worked as a pattern maker in the Garment District, known for his strong work ethic and exceptional skill. He was a man of quiet dedication, always putting in the effort to provide for his family and taking pride in his craft.
In his free time, Francesco enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved going to the beach, watching soccer, and cheering on Formula One races. He found peace and joy in the countryside, and also he spent hours gardening. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a dedicated family man who always put the needs of others first, and his easy-going, selfless nature made him a beloved figure to all who knew him.
Francesco is survived by his loving wife Caterina, his sons Vito, Antonio, Franco, and Giovanni, and his cherished grandchildren Antonio Jr., Vincent, Dominic, Anthony, Ariana, and Francesca. He also leaves behind his dear sisters Antonetta and Caterina, as well as many friends and loved ones who will forever remember his kindness and generous spirit.
Francesco’s legacy of love, hard work, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Rest in peace, Francesco. You will always be remembered.
