Francis "Frank" D'Amato, born on January 11, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 76. A respected resident of Pleasant Plains in Staten Island, New York, Frank was a cherished member of his community and a dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph-St. Thomas Church.
Frank enjoyed a fulfilling career as a paper salesman before retiring, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. He was a devoted family man, lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Frank was also cherished by his nephew, PatMichael, and his niece, Marie. He leaves behind many cousins, including Lillian, MariaGrace, Marisa, Dawn, Philip, Kathy, Jimmy, Isabel, Peggy, Virginia, Robert, and Annette.
A memorial service to honor Frank's life will be held at Casey-McCallum Rice Funeral Home, located at 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308, on August 16, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
