When I was growing up on Staten Island, I used to buy my records at Four Winds Music Shop. In fact Frank would put aside the weekly WABC radio surveys for me. When I stopped in, he would greet me with"Let me see what new surveys are in this week". When I joined the USAF, my Mom would stop down periodically and Frank would have some surveys for me. As time went on, I saw Frank less & less and Four Winds faded in to Great Kills history, but my memories of Frank had not. Everytime I pass by the former Four Winds, I think of Frank and how he is a part of my life. Mr Frank Amodeo, I salute you and thank you for your friendship. God Bless You My Friend! The family of Frank Amodeo have my deepest sympathy. I used to shop in Four Winds Music Shop. Mr. Amodeo was always very kind and helpful. We used to say ...we are going to Frankie's.
