Frederick William Grube

Born in the Bronx, Mr. Grube had lived in Rosebank since he was a child.

He attended high school in Queens.

Mr. Grube was a self-employed carpenter.

He was an enthusiastic sports fan and loved the New York Yankees and New York Rangers.

He also enjoyed playing softball with his daughter and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Grube attended St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Rosebank.

Surviving are his daughter, Melisa; his mother, Elizabeth Grube; three brothers, Victor, Ronald and Dennis, and three sisters, Carol Conde and Sara and Donna Grube.

The funeral will be Tuesday from the Virginia Funeral Chapel, Dongan Hills, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church. Arrangements include cremation.

Visitation: Sunday & Monday, 2-4pm & 7-9pm
