Aunt Gail taught me how to speak "Staten Island" English when I was a little boy. She sat with me at the Northern Michigan cottage and pronounced fun words to say like coffee and water. Such a great memory that I have of such a special Aunt. We will miss you Aunt Gail.

My memories with Gail💞
*While in elementary school....
In the summertime, my parents loved to pack the car early on Saturday mornings & take the family on trips to NJ. My sisters & I were each allowed to bring a friend.
This was definitely before seat belts! I always asked my best friend Gail. Our friends slept over on Friday nights so we could get an early start & head to Lakewood NJ for a day of swimming, barbecuing, fishing, walking & playing family softball. At dusk we’d pack the station wagon & off to Seaside Heights.
We had so much fun. We’d get home in the early morning hours & our friends slept over again. We did this many times during the summers.
*High School memories....
While in high school I would walk to Cortland Steet where I would meet Gail. We walked together everyday to Port Richmond H.S. At the end of the day we would meet up & walk home together, just about everyday for 4 years.
Some days after school we would go to Gail’s house & have a cup of hot tea or go to the corner store & have a soda & chips with our friend Rosie.
*Memories after High School....
When Gail got her Ford Falcon we would go on adventures. We just got in the car & went. Never knew where we’d end up but we always had fun!
One thing we liked to do was go bowling. That turned out to be a lasting memory. That’s where my friend meet the love of her life. Yes, Chuck & Gail met at the bowling alley. They met a few times over the next couple of weeks. They new they were meant for each other. Each had found their true love!💞
They were married in 1965.
The Beginning!

PS. Thank you for the memories
my friend. Forever in my heart....

Goodbye to a loving, gentle spirit who nurtured a wonderful family. And who, in the early days, mentored me, and taught me how to ride a bike and drive a car. Rest in the welcoming arms of Jesus.
Love, Cousin Russ.
P.S. Found this picture of Gail & Tom.
