Dear Christine, Denise and Meghan, 

I’m saddened by the lose of Mr. O’Connor.  My heartfelt condolences.  The loss of a parent is one of the most difficult and heartbreaking experiences.  No matter how old we get, we are rarely prepared to lose that guiding hand.
I have had the pleasure of being an honorary O’Connor since I was 8 years old.  Your family helped offer a rich childhood, full of wonderful memories that I will always treasure.  Your father was a big part of that history.  He was always kind, patient and encouraging.  I went from sitting in the back seat of his car as a little girl to becoming an adult, enjoying conversations, breaking bread and sharing a cocktail with him. That’s a lot of history.
There’s no question he loved his family  and grandsons.  It was a pleasure to watch his joy and energy for Max and Justin.  I think Brendon even partook in taking Mr. O’Connor “down” as the boys wrestled with him.  
As your family photos illustrate, Mr. O’Connor touched so many lives and will always be with us.  It’s hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.

May he Rest In Peace and may you find comfort in his memory and the love he had for you.
