We know words do not convey relief, for the grief, you feel over your loss.  We have Gerod, Lisa, and the whole Malandro family in our prayers and trust he has gone to a better place.
It has been said we are not left behind when someone departs, but rather, they take a part of us with them and in turn leave a part of them behind, so they are always with us in our hearts and minds.

Gerod raised me for many years. I wasn’t the easiest to deal with in my younger years, but I loved him more than he knew. I called him dad for a number of years. He’s the reason I love music so much. He absolutely helped shape me, and that was never forgotten or overlooked. He showed up and he provided for a child that wasn’t his. And in recent years he has supported my recovery as well. The Malandro’s are so very special to me, and they always will be.

Our deepest condolences to the family.

 you will always be in our hearts and minds.  Thank you for all the wonderful times shared together. May you now rest in God’s peace and watch over your loved ones.
