Grafton T. Francis

His childhood in Trinidad instilled a lifelong passion for swimming, beach life and horticulture and he loved to speak about it with anyone who would listen. Grafton migrated to the United States on 11/1/69 to join his lovely wife Doreen in Brooklyn NY to start their lives together and fulfill his lifelong dream of purchasing his first home.

Grafton and Doreen first met and bonded over their mutual appreciation for traveling, swimming and beach life and continued to share this throughout their marriage of 57 years.

Grafton leaves behind his wife Doreen, his children Dave, Dale and Tracey and his sisters Sylvia and Ruth and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Colvin, David, Walter, Reuben and his sister Sheila.

A visitation will be held at Casey Funeral Home, located at 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314, on July 2, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
