Born in Cantalupo nel Sannio, Italy, in February of 1932, he immigrated to America with two of his brothers, Antonio and Giuseppe, in 1948 and resided in New York City's Little Italy.
Jerry was the loving husband of Angela for the past 64 years. He is survived by his 4 children: Louis (Linda), Anthony (Sandra), Phyllis (Alfonso) Malgieri and Diana; 4 grandchildren: Anthony (Teressa), Gia (Joe) Rickman, Stephanie and Nicholas; 4 great-granchildren: Nicholas, Frankie Lynn, Jace and Luca Louis, and his sister, Carmela DiRe. He was predeceased in death by his grandson, Frank and his great-grandson, Anthony; his parents, Luigi and Brigida Pepe; his brothers, Angelo, Giuseppe and Antonio; and his sisters, Marietta and Antonietta.
He was a hard worker who spent his entire working years in construction. Jerry loved being surrounded by his family and friends in the home he built with his own two hands. He especially enjoyed frequent trips to Atlantic City with his wife and in his younger years his hunting trips with his best friends Mario, Tony and Vinny. In the last 6 years, he was blessed with the canine companionship of his little dog, Luca.
He will be fondly remembered for his wonderful smile, his "hands of gold", his enormous heart and his friendship and loyalty. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
