Helen Lupardo

Helen Lupardo (nee Kish) 89 of Sunnyside died and went to be with Lord on February 16, 2021. She was born in Greenridge, SI on June 15, 1931 and raised in Tottenville. Helen worked at Merrimack Factory in Rossville, SI where she met her future husband, Thomas Lupardo. She later worked for the NYC Department of Education in the cafeteria at Catholic schools in her area. She retired after 19 years. Helen and Tom were married in 1953 and celebrated 68 years of marriage. Helen was a talented artist, baker and loved crafts and playing the organ. She also served as a Eucharist minister at St. Teresa’s. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas in 2019, her parents, Louis and Vera Kish, three brothers, Alexander, Louis, John Kish and a sister Elizabeth Szasz. She is survived by her sister Margaret Teixuro, son Thomas Lupardo, daughter, Maryann Correa, grandchildren Jaime and John Correa, great-grandchildren, Arielle and Hailey Correa as well as many loving nieces and nephews.<>
