

WWII veteran and machinist loved cooking, was a Yankees fan
Henry Rosato, 94, of New Brighton, passed away on Dec. 21, 2018, at Clove Lakes Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Henry was born in October of 1924 and was brought up in Keyport, N.J. His parents were Adalaide (nee Pelligrino) and Daniel Rosato. He was the fifth child born of seven. His siblings were Jennie Sardella, Julius, Suzanne Bialoblocki, Albert, Julius, and Daniel. He is survived by Julius and Daniel, and many nieces and nephews.
Henry was a World War II veteran who served from 1943 to 1946 aboard the USS Vincennes. He later joined the Reserve and served an additional 20 years.
Henry met and married his wife, Antoinette Crescitelli, and settled in New Brighton. He was the father of Daniel and the late Henry Jr. and Adele. His loving wife passed away in May of 2014.
Henry worked as a machinist for General Dynamics and other companies throughout the years. He enjoyed cooking for the family and always helped out when needed. Henry also enjoyed watching and cheering on the Yankees with his wife and boys.
The wake will be held at Harmon Funeral Home on Dec. 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Dec. 27 at Christian Pentecostal Church.
