James Albano

Born to James and Marie Albano of Staten Island, he was raised in Sunset Hill.

A true car enthusiast, his interests ranged from building motors, racing cars, to restoring and collecting classic cars.

Nicknamed Mac Guyver by many, he never failed to amaze others with his abilities to fabricate with whatever was conveniently on hand. His culinary talents inherited from his parents included making the best sausage and mushroom pizzas and other Italian favorites. Possessing a quick wit and sharp sense of humor, he enjoyed many classic comedies two favorites of which included Barney Miller and Seinfeld.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Intorcia.

He is survived by Patricia, his wife of over 50 years, and many family members including his dear Cousin Marie Hansen her husband Ken, and her daughters Christine and Julie.

A visitation for James will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310. A committal service will occur Monday, August 21, 2023 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Road, Staten Island, NY 10306.
