

Born in the Bronx, Mr. Noone was raised in West Brighton prior to moving to Queens. He returned to Staten Island to live in Castleton Corners four years ago.
He was a 1965 graduate of Curtis High School.
Mr. Noone served in the U.S. Army as a sharpshooter from 1967 to 1969. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War and received his honorable discharge as a private first class.
He worked as a mail handler in Manhattan for the U.S. Postal Service for 23 years.
Mr. Noone's hobbies included golf and vacationing in Cape Cod, Mass.
Mr. Noone was a member of Adoptive Parents Committee.
His family described him as a man who lived life to the fullest. He was said to be a shining light to family and friends.
He attended St. Teresa's R.C. Church, Castleton Corners.
Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Doreen M. Quinn; a daughter, Michaela Helen Noone; two brothers, Brian and John, and two sisters, Mary Ellen Tirone and Eileen Noone.
The funeral will be Saturday from Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Teresa's Church. Arrangements include cremation.
