

Janet Reuhl was born August 5, 1941 in Queens, New York. She graduated from Bryant High school in 1959 and was married in 1964. She moved to Mahopac, New York in 1969 and then to Staten Island in the late 1980s where she resided until her death.
She is pre-deceased by her parents, John and Violet Reuhl as well as all three of her siblings Irene Lucerino, and John and Henry Reuhl and her nephew James Reuhl.
She is survived by her daughter Michele McMurray, son-in-law Richard McMurray, Son Charles Iracondo, daughter-in-law Korri Iracondo, her four grandchildren, Richard McMurray, Nicole McMurray, Catherine Iracondo and Emma Iracondo as well as five nieces and nephews, Laura, Anthony, and Denise Piacenti, John Lucerino, and Stacy Reuhl and one great nephew Joseph Piacenti.
She was retired from Morgan Stanley,
was an active member of St. Joseph Parish in Rosebank and was a member of the Christian Mothers association.
Janet loved her family, going to Atlantic City and on vacations, doing puzzles, gardening and watching TV, especially home renovation, animal, and cooking shows.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314, US, on August 27, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph and St. Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, 466 Tompkins Ave, Staten Island, NY 10305, on August 28, 2026, at 10:00 am.
