Jeanne Bernadette McRoberts Fisher was born and raised in New Brighton, Staten Island. The third child of Raymond & Elizabeth Keane McRoberts, she grew up surrounded by a loving family: the late Raymond, Mary Orazem, Patricia Martuccio, the late James E., Margaret Reuss, the late John McRoberts, Francis Iannuzzi, Judith Wheeler, Elizabeth Mortensen, & the late Eileen Panzella. She married her beloved and devoted husband Thomas L. Fisher on Feb 27, 1960 at St. Peter's Church. They raised four children Thomas, James, Patrick & Deborah Pensabene in Mariners Harbor. She enjoyed walking, sewing, tea time, coffee, and spending time with all her family including grand children, neices, nephews & their families & pets. As a mother of four, a grandmother of nine and a great grandmother mother of three, Jeanne was a selfless, kind hearted & nurturing maternal light in her family. Jeanne lived at Carmel Nursing Home & Sunrise Assisted Living on S.I. after suffering a stroke over ten years ago. She lived her last years at The Carriage House in Charlotte, N.C. She was tended and cared for by many loving hands over the years and we are grateful for all of them. Jeanne passed away in Charlotte at age 84 on April 8,2019 to be reunited with her husband & family
