Joan Feraco, a beacon of warmth and love, passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughters at the Hospital on November 2, 2025, at the age of 91.
Joan was the loving daughter of Anne and John, whom she lost too soon. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, where she enjoyed most of her life.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late Angelo, who passed in 2020. He was the love of her life. For 65 years, they shared an extraordinary marriage, one filled with a lifetime of devotion, laughter, and cherished memories. They were truly soulmates with a deep and everlasting love. Together they traveled extensively abroad and throughout the United States.
After starting a family, Joan chose to leave the workforce to raise their two children, embracing her role as full time mother with love and dedication.
Joan was a wonderful mother to her loving daughters Debra and Diane, and sons-in-law Anthony and Bradley, a doting grandmother to her adored grandchildren Gregory and his wife Marisa, Kristen and her husband Frank, Brooke and Jonathan, and her precious great-granddaughter Sienna, all of whom brought her immeasurable pride and joy.
Joan is also survived by her sisters-in-law Loretta, Helen, and Linda, and predeceased by her sister-in-law Marie. Joan had many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Although her greatest joy came from her family, Joan was also active in her community, whether it was working for the Board of Elections, volunteering at the local hospital and church, or participating as a member of the Columbiettes and the Lioness Club.
Joan will be remembered for her warmth, contagious laughter, fun-loving and friendly nature and generous heart. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
