Afterglow I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done.

I am a lucky person to have know such an exceptional woman
Always friendly , sincere , caring, proud of her family
Interested in the other person and what they had to say or what was going on in their lives
She did a great job raising her children
She was intelligent yet humble
Very supportive and her laughter was infectious
We can all aspire to be more like Joan O’Brien
May she RIP and may God Bring peace to all of her family
Love ,
Patricia and Joe

I met Joan through the Red Hat Society. I always admired her. Such a strong faithful women of beautiful children. Always taking care of her husband. Loved going out with her and enjoying good times. Our last time together was a birthday luncheon for my mother and our friend Dolly. Joan hadn't been with us for a long time, but was so happy to be with all her girlfriends .Here is a photo with her good friends Maria and Caroline. Rest in Peace, my dear friend,
