Joan Ida Ullstrom

Joan Ida Ullstrom, 88, of Staten Island, New York, passed away on August 11, 2026. Born on July 7, 1938, Joan was born and raised in Staten Island, NY, a place that remained central to her life and the community she called home.

With steady devotion and quiet strength, Joan built a life rooted in family and shared purpose. She was the co-owner of A & J Crystal Gifts with her husband, a role she carried with diligence, pride, and a gracious regard for the people she served and worked alongside.

Joan is survived by her husband Arthur Ullstrom; her daughter Susan; and two grand daughters and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314, on August 14, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Church of the Ascension, 1 Kingsley Ave, New York, NY 10314, on August 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd, New York, NY 10306, on August 15, 2026, from 11:15 am to 11:30 am.
