I am sad to have just heard of Jack Campbell's passing.  I knew him as a wonderful role model while a student at P.S. 20, later as as a special mentor while a student teacher at P.S. 20 and he an assistant principal, and yet again as a truly dedicated, compassionate person as our paths would cross while a teacher at P.S. 18 and P.S.19. He is the golden standard of what a teacher, administrator, and genuine human being should be!    How shocked and sorry I was to hear of Jack's passing while I was away.  Jack was a funny, wonderful, and compassionate person.  As a secretary at PS 19, it was a pleasure to know and work with him.  I will always remember him as a gentle, fair, and kind person who loved his family and his job as Principal.

Jack was one of my best residents. His smile and great personality made a hard job a little easier! Jack was a great man. Well known and extremely loved! I missed you everyday you left the home. Miss you even more today.. Continue to watch over your wife! She's a beautiful woman!!!

Jack was my neighbor and fellow parisioner at Blessed Sacrament.  I enjoyed chatting with him and Flo after church on Sundays. May he rest in the peace of Our Lord.  Kevin will be happy to be with his Dad again.  My condolances to the family
