Just learned of Johns passing. My condolences to all his family.  Rest easy Cowboy! 🇺🇸

Old cowboy legends never die.  They just ride off into the sunset - on their Harleys.  To the other pea in my pod, rest in peace. ♥

John was my cousin,  handsome, and was born on my birthday June 29.  He was a caring person and loved his family.  Rest in the peace of God's love.  Will pray for you now and always.  Mom and Dad were there waiting to hug  and greet you.  Rest In Peace, John!

John was one of the good guys, he was tough on the outside but if he liked you he was a mush inside. From the time I opened the Pony Express, he became a friend and protector too many at the club.
To his family, my deepest condolences. John was a great friend, I had a reunion a few years after the Pony Express closed. To my surprise, he showed up and told me that he came for me.  He was a friend to many and will be missed. RIP Cowboy

I am so sorry for your loss Jane, Donna and Patricia. I've known John since he was about 16  years old. He was always around and certainly made himself known as that one of a kind person. He always made us laugh and sometimes we just wanted to kill him!!  LOL A jokester for sure.
He was so handsome as a young man you couldn't stay mad at him.  I was in touch with him until the late 80's, then no more.
RIP with your loved ones in heaven and keep everybody from Russo's laughing! Now you can  sing "Runaround Sue" with Danny!

A very sad day indeed. I met John when l played with Danny Doris and Jimmie Mack back in the 80s. He was definitely one of a kind. If he was your friend he would do anything for you, he had a big heart. He was also a very good singer. We had many great days together, lots of laughs. He could be a rough guy too as we all know. He was a legend in my mind. The trick was to see through his exterior. John, thanks so much for the friendship, the help when l needed it, the laughs, and mostly the love. PS... St Peter, You're gonna have an interesting week...❤️

So sorry to hear this.  John and I were good friends for many many years.  My heart is broken.  My prayers to all his family.  He will be missed greatly.
