John was born, and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He spent eight years in Portland, OR enjoying its beauty.
He loved books, crosswords, and animals. John served in the Army from 1970-1972, in Viet Nam. He went on to excel at his job of Supreme Court Officer in Staten Island.
His satiric, black sense of humor will be sorely missed by friends, and family alike. He leaves behind, Sara, his wife of 46 years, his brother, Jim, and sister, Germaine.
