Much love and respect to the best man, son, uncle, husband, father and grandfather any of us have ever known. Jorge was born in Puerto Cortés, Honduras C.A. and immigrated to the United States at the age of 19. Soon after he arrived in the states, at a Honduran “Disco Tech”, he met the love of his life; Noemi. He had memories of her grandmother; at one time, they were neighbors as children.
Jorge was a hard working, dedicated and loving husband and father. Jorge always put his needs aside in order to support his loved ones. His selflessness was unmatched. His integrity and honesty were noble. He remained seemingly fearless to his family in the face of adversity as he was their protector. He was strong and always encouraged the best in people.
Jorge was a funny man. A people person. A stranger to no one. He was intelligent and taught himself many languages and skills in his life which helped him to communicate with everyone around him. He was a dancer and the one who shut the place down! Eventually, he had five children; Vanessa, Jorge Jr., Priscilla, Jocelyn and Isaac which helped him to slow down. He was a pious man and showed us the love of God through his love as a father. He leaves behind Bessy Noemi, his wife of 49 years, his four surviving children and nine grandchildren; Kiara, Richie, Jorge III, Nicholas, Jack, Isabella, Elias, Lucas and Sebastian.
Jorge passed away at the age of 71 in Staten Island, NY.
