I’ll always remember what a delightful colleague Joey was to work with at Fidelity Investments.  To run into Joey at work —  often with his good friend, Omar Patino — was to brighten one’s day.  As I age, I realize that the great blessing of getting to attain old age is tempered by the great sadness of losing friends, relatives, and colleagues. Joe was the nicest, friendliest, most likable person.  He always had a cheery word for me, whenever I bumped into him in the hallway, or at the Elevator bank at work, or outside at lunch time taking a walk.  He lived life "large".  I am going to miss him.  Deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Joe was such a wonderful colleague to work with.  He was a great guy.  He will be missed.  

I was very lucky to work with Joe, he was the most admirable person, always smiled, always had a joke to tell. Joe was bringing light and positivity into all around him. This is such a huge loss. Joe will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to his family and to everyone who loved Joe.

My heart aches to hear very sad news about Joe. We worked together in Chase and Fidelity. When I think about Joe, first thing that comes to my mind is his smile. His smile, jokes, kindness and his stories will be always remembered. We will miss you Joe!

I had the pleasure of working with Joe — many called him Joey — at Fidelity Investments.  He was one of the most beloved people in the department.  Joe and his best work friend, Omar Patino, were like a two-man comedy team whenever one had the good fortune to bump into them.  I am so, so sorry that Joe is gone.  He leaves an entire IT department of friends and admirers.   Oh, yes:  I failed to mention that Joe was very, very smart and good at his job.   He was a wonderful human being.
