Laura Cassone

Loving wife to her late husband Joseph, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Wednesday November 19, 2025. Laura was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island in 1980 with her husband and family. Laura was a retired sales associate who enjoyed doing puzzles and listening to gospel music. She was very active in the church singing in the choir and taught Sunday school for many years. She loved to cook and enjoyed vacationing with her husband in Niagara Falls. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Laura is survived by her daughter Laurie Joy Smith, her granddaughters Jennifer Smith-Peralta and husband Federico Peralta, Lauren Smith and Thomas Maldonado, Christine Smith-Miloshevski and husband Nikola Miloshevski, her great grandchildren Tommy Luca, Thomas James, Savannah Rae, Samantha Josephine, her sisters Vivian Cassone, Rose Conti, Gloria Giacoppo and many nieces and nephews.

Laura is predeceased by her parents John and Angelina Costanza, her loving husband Joseph Cassone Jr, her loving son Gary Joseph Cassone, her siblings Onofrio Costanza, Vincent Costanza, Joseph Costanza, Anna Calandrino, Jennie Costanza, Gerlando Costanza and Ann Marie Euliano.

Laura was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
