Lawrence Clayton Schreib

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Clayton Schreib Jr. who passed away after a brief illness at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Staten Island Len, Lanny, Larry, Lenny, Daddy, Grampie, Opa, & Friend, were some of the many names he went by. He was a hard-working, soft spoken man who worked for Hertz and later Penske as a truck mechanic. He loved his family, breakfast with his friends and neighbors, horseback riding, mowing grass, traveling the county, old cowboy movies, hunting, and tinkering around. He was a longtime member of the Richmond Boro Gun Club.

The son of the late Lawrence C. Schreib Sr and Signe B. Schreib (Knudsen). Beloved husband of Gail Patricia Schreib (nee Leppik) for 62 years. Devoted Father of Ellen Ebrahim, Beth Bernstein and Sandra DeFranco. Treasured father in law to Edward Bernstein, Rocco DeFranco and George Ebrahim. Cherished Grampie to Lucie Di Capua (Scott), Jessica Esposito (Brian), Joseph Bernstien, Patricia Ebrahim, Jason DeFranco, Matthew Bernstein, Katherine Ebrahim, Christopher Bernstein, Christina Ebrahim, Jacqueline DeFranco and Elizabeth Ebrahim and Great Grandchildren Samantha Spiewak, Olivia Spiewak & Lorenzo Esposito.
