Dear Smith Family,

We are so saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Mr. Smith. We were blessed to know him almost 40 years and over that span of time we have seen him grow from a no-nonsense dad to a very special grandfather to his two grandsons, Jacob and Benjamin.

Our best memories of Mr. Smith include being grateful for the many rides he gave us throughout grade and high school, honking the horn as he was on his legendary morning runs on Richmond Terrace (he fancied himself a local celebrity), and all the best "dad" jokes he could come up with.

Mr. Smith was smart, funny, and a force to be reckoned with when it came to his family. This is such a tremendous loss for all his loved ones and friends. But, the memories he has left will live on with each of us.

Sending all our love to Mrs. Smith, Janine, Melba, and their extended families during this particularly difficult time.

with our deepest sympathies,
Amina and Khadija Mohamed

Leroy will truly be missed in our community. Leroy's pride and joy was his family. Whenever I would meet up with him and talk about what was happening in his life, he would proudly talk abut his vacation with his family and would be smiling from ear to ear. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and having his family so close to him.

Jeanette and Family
So sorry to hear about your loss, our deepest condolences.
I remember seeing you and Leroy at Lyons Gym at 6am over the years. Leroy was a nice friendly guy always a hello or a chat when we see each other in the parking lot or when he was picking up or dropping off your grand kids.
Yes Leroy will be missed but our memories of Leroy will stay.

Dear Jeanette,

I am so very sorry (and shocked) to have just learned about Leroy's passing. It has been such a joy to exchange our grandchildren's stories these past few years; I know how much you both loved them and enjoyed taking care of them; it is so sad for them and your children to loose him as well. My thoughts are with you in this difficult time, and let me know if there is anything you need. On behalf of my children and me please accept our heartfelt condolences.
