

Born March 23, 1947, in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rita Elwood and a graduate of Curtis High School.
Linda had a long career in research and development, working for Sun Chemical Corporation and later for Crayola until her retirement in 2021, where she contributed to the development of several products. She also held a U.S. patent (No. 11,975,563).
A devoted born-again Christian, Linda began attending Faith Fellowship Ministries in 1980, a turning point that shaped the rest of her life.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas Malcolm Boreham and Devon Thomas Boreham, from her marriage to Malcolm D. Boreham, Jr.; their respective partners, Natalia and Natalie; her grandchildren, Spencer, Logan, Lucas, and MacKenzie Boreham; her sisters, Sharon and Jeannine; her brother-in-law, Manuel; and her sister-in-law, Cindy “Cid.” She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas.
Viewing will be held Thursday, May 7, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Ave., Staten Island, NY. A funeral service will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ocean View Cemetery, 3315 Amboy Rd., Staten Island, NY.
The family thanks the staff of Kessler Rehabilitation Hospital, West Orange, NJ, and Dr. Kaitlyn E. Wilkey for their care and compassion. The family also extends special thanks to Giuliana Suarez, a nurse and personal friend, for her extraordinary support and dedication in ensuring Linda’s comfort and care during her final weeks.
