Born and raised in Castries, St. Lucia, Mr. Joseph emigrated to New York City in 1970. He has the distinction to have resided in every borough of this great City, but settled happily on Staten Island for the last 30 years. He was an avid fan of baseball, and passionately rooted for the Mets. However, he always rooted for NYC first and foremost, and would support the Yankees whenever they made the playoffs. He was also a Knicks (basketball) fan.
Louis was the youngest of six children. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Margaret and Aisha (son-in-law Alan), his granddaughter Jaleesa, grandson Meshach, his eldest sister Luce, his nieces: Gloria, Heather, Ingrid, Maria, and Marie; his nephews: Benedict, Darius, Mark, Michael and Yanrique including their respective families.
Louis was a people person who was always willing to lend a helping hand; he will also be celebrated and missed by dear friends and neighbors.
