Lucy F. Wideman

Lucy F. Wideman was born on November 9th, 1944 and sadly passed away on May 25, 2021. Lucy is survived by her daughter Shawn Wideman-Robinson, son-in-law Charles 4 grandchildren Delbert, Jessica, Charles Jr, &Maya & 1 great-grandson Christopher & 10 nieces & nephews who will all miss her dearly. Lucy is a life long Staten Islander, she attended P.S.18, P.S. 44 & Port Richmond High School. Lucy then began working for Staten Island Developmental Disabilities Service Office (SIDDSO) in Willowbrooke where she retired in 2007. Lucy loved to be around her family laughing and playing around with them. When she wasn’t with her family, you can find her right at home watching her western tv shows. Lucy has happily joined both her parents Benjamin & WillaMae, son Christopher Wideman, granddaughter Kristen & 6 siblings in the heavenly gates. There will be no public viewing or service at Lucy’s final requests, she wants everyone to remember her bubbly personality & outgoing spirit.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.
