Luz Lopez, 84, of Staten Island, NY passed away on March 23, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Luz was a loving wife to Jose Vega, a devoted mother to her 3 children; Luz, Richard, and Josie, a grandmother to Tania and Spiros and a great-grandmother to Illias, Loukas, Sophia, and Josiah.

Luz loved cooking, feeding everyone and making everyone laugh. Her family, her children and grandchildren filled her with Joy and Pride.

Luz is survived by a family who will never forget the love, laughter, and joy she brought to their lives.

A visitation for Luz will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310. A committal will occur Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:36 PM at The Green-Wood Cemetery, 25th St, New York, NY 11232. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at The Green-Wood Cemetery, 25th St, New York, NY 11232.
