Well what can I say that wasn’t already said. She was a generous and funny woman who I had the pleasure to know. We had great times going to the Disney conventions. She always gave a helping hand without even having to ask. She helped Lucyanne get a party together for her parents 25th anniversary. She dug up every recording of Stardust out & thanks Margaret, I still have the songs in my head :).
Seriously, I am glad you are in a better place and are no longer suffering. For you to be stuck in one place must have been horrible for you.
Rest In Peace, you will never be forgotten.

A life well lived is also a life one doesn't know where to begin to describe. I'm certain anyone that knew Margaret will have a fistfull of memories accompanied with each and every one.
Holidays. If there ever was a person who lived each holiday from the eyes of a child it was Margaret. From being Snow White for every Halloween, to not just a christmas village in the living room, No. It was more like a christmas metropolis.
Parties. No one hosted a party like Margaret. From too much food to never ending energy to make every person feel welcome and special. She threw a surprise baby shower for me and it was the first ever party thrown just for me. Never again will I have such a wonderful time as I did back then.
Disney. From her entire house decorated with classic Disney portraits to display cabinets full of beautiful chachkees. You would think she had a direct line to Disney warehouses. And the yearly September trips to Disneyana conventions. We had so much fun at these. I don't know who was more excited, the kids or Margaret.
Being a Grandma/mother in law. I couldn't have asked for a more generous mother in law or grandma. Living with Margaret, I would hear the garage door open and minutes later she would come into our part of the house with a big grin saying Chris! Chris! Look what I got for the kids. She loved both my children without question, but everyone knew Robbie was her moon and stars. Sometimes frustratingly so. But that was Margaret.
She lived a full non stop life until her body just couldn't keep up the pace.
I'm sure with her faith and belief, she is far too busy celebrating with Vinnie, Grandma and Grandpa, Alfred, Anthony, and Uncle Al. Along with so many more. Cry if you must, but I say celebrate she is free of her burdens.
Have faith in Your dreams and someday Your rainbow will come smiling through. No matter how your heart is grieving. The dream that you wish will come true.

Aunt Margaret, I was so proud that you were my godmother. You always treated me and everyone else around you with such love. You would do anything for anyone. We had some really fun times together, between all the parties , get together's and of course the Disney Conventions. We laughed so much. You will truly be missed. I am just so sorry that the last eight years were so terrible for you. At least now you are at peace. There are so many people to welcome you into heaven where you can finally rest in peace. I love you and I will miss you.

Linda and Robert, I am so sorry for your loss. But know that she is now in a better place and suffering no more. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

We had so many good times together. Our trips to the Disney Conventions and our family get together. You always said I was more like a sister to you then a cousin. You were always there for everyone and they didn't even have to ask. Now it is your turn to be free of the last eight years. God has said, you had enough and took you to a better place. I have so many memories. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Till we meet again. Rest In Peace. Love Ann

Margaret was a kind person, she will always be remembered, as a person who cared about everyone. I remember all the happy times & fun Nick & I had over her house. She loved her children with all of heart and did so much for them out of love. I know they have happy memories of her. To The children always remember her love for the both of you, take care of yourself and your family.
May the soul of Margaret Contino rest in peace.
