October 15, 1925November 6, 2020

Born and raised in Ireland, Beloved great-grandmother of six, and grandmother of 15. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas Francis and her son, Kevin (Mary), Margaret is survived by her sons, John (Norma), Thomas (Paulette), and Edward, and her daughters, Mary Meehan (Jack), Patricia Lenza (Stephen), and Elizabeth (Gerald, deceased). Margaret (nee Devaney) was born in 1925 and raised in a thatched roof house in Corn Hill, Longford, Ireland, where her family farmed the land for generations dating back to the 1700s. Margaret emigrated to New York City in 1948 and was one of last cohorts to take the voyage by sea. Margaret settled on the North Shore of Staten Island and married Thomas who was the love of her life in 1953. She raised her family in the same house where she spent her final days. Margaret loved spending weekends listening to Irish music, making Sundays meals, and socializing with friends and family. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Harmon Funeral Home. Mass will be Thursday at 10:15 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, with the burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.

All my love to All of you today!
I am so sorry to hear about your mom passing... knowing your dad will be waiting for her with open arms hopefully will bring you some comfort in this sad time.
I was blessed to be among the “extended family “ of neighbors to have known your mom and how much she loved her family. She was a wonderful, loving woman and I have never seen two people love one another as much as your parents did❤️
May she Rest In Peace
All my love ❤️Susie
