

Born Marianne Arico in Dongan Hills, she graduated from New Dorp High School. She lived in Dongan Hills until entering the nursing home nine months ago.
She worked in the cafeteria at St. Ann’s School, Dongan Hills, for 25 years, retiring in the 1960s.
Mrs. Inglima read the Bible every day and was devoted to her faith.
She also took great joy in spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Inglima’s husband of 39 years, Philip (Whitey), died in 1984.
She was a longtime parishioner of St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Dongan Hills, and a member of its Golden Age Club.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen Mascolo and Francine Inglima; a brother, Paul; a sister, Frances Sercia; a granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday from the Virginia Funeral Chapel, Dongan Hills, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Grasmere.
