Marie Theresa Veith Bellezza passed away Monday September 12, 2022. She was 100 years old. Lifetime resident of Staten Island, she was predeceased by Vincent, her husband of 53 years. Marie was the beloved mother of Vincent (Barbara) & James (Rita) & grandmother to Michael, Katie, John, Jennifer & James Bellezza and great grandchildren Clara, Ryan, Madeline, Nicholas, Patrick, Amelia, Emme Jo, James & Julianna. Also part of her family were her caregivers Wendy Hercules & Angie Simms.
Marie loved going to the beach with her family. She enjoyed parties & entertaining, baking for the church, crafting, sewing & quilting. She belonged to St. Rita’s Quilting Guild & at one time was the president of St. Rita’s Ladies Guild. Services will be held on Thursday from 3-8 pm at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave. Staten Island, NY. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, 10am at St. Rita’s Church and burial to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
