Marie T. Cropper

Marie Cropper, 51, beloved Mother, of Brooklyn NY, passed away on Saturday November 13th, 2021. Marie was born on April 19th, 1970 in Brooklyn, the daughter of Victor DeSantiago & Ruth DeSantiago (Spoto) So dainty and adorable as a child, her friends would affectionately call her “Dinky”. Marie would go on meet her first true love, Peter William Tocco in 1984, and give birth to her first born son, Peter, in 1986. They would later marry in 1990, and she gave birth to a second son, Matthew, in 1992. Peter and Marie were together from 1984 to 1998 and remained close until the end. Marie would re-marry in 2001 to David Cropper. David and Marie enjoyed life and love together for many years. Marie worked in the medical field for most of her life, doing important and essential work as a medical biller, administrator, and secretary. Marie was a beautiful person, inside and out. Marie was a stalwart for her children and her love steadfast. Marie is survived by her son’s Peter and Matthew, and her grandchildren Jenna and Vincent. “There is no power like it on this earth, no treasure equal to its worth, The gift of a mother’s love.” There are no goodbyes.
