

Marie L. Truisi, a beloved resident of the Oakwood neighborhood in Staten Island, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024. She was born in Brooklyn and attended St. Edmund's High School. Marie was a dedicated parishioner of St. Charles Roman Catholic Church.
Marie was known for her vibrant spirit and diverse interests. She found joy in playing games such as Rummikub, Words with Friends, and various card games with her family and friends. Her evenings were often spent enjoying television shows like Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, and Hallmark movies, which she cherished dearly.
Cooking and baking were among Marie's greatest passions, and she delighted in sharing these talents with her loved ones. She had a remarkable talent for decorating, especially during the holidays, turning her home into a festive wonderland that brought happiness to all who visited.
Marie is survived by her loving sons Michael and Daniel, and her cherished granddaughter Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 58 years, Vincent Sr., her son Vincent Jr., and her brother Charles Cino.
Marie Truisi will be remembered fondly for her warm heart, her unwavering faith, and her zest for life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by her family and friends.
Visitation services to celebrate Marie's life will be held at Casey McCallum Rice Funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
