Marie Yacovello

Marie was a loving, beautiful, and generous spirit. She was the heart and soul of her family and shared “all the love in the world” with everyone around her (as she signed on every card). She adored her children, Michele, Barbara, and Nicole, as well as her grandchildren, Ally, Becca, Juli, Grace, and Matt, who were the lights of her life. There was never a concert, school play, game, or TikTok trend she would not indulge, and she truly wanted to give her grandchildren everything. Even once she was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, Marie maintained a positive outlook and was determined to be around for as many family milestones as she could.

Like the CEO of the Yacovello family, she was incredibly sharp, funny, and thoughtful and kept track of every one of her loved ones’ interests and needs (which, of course, included her brother Anthony’s and sister, Annie’s families, as well as many extended family members and friends). Her organization and attentiveness continued to her last days, as she ensured everyone around her was happy and well. Her greatest desire was for her family to remain joyfully together and caring for one another, and she led by example every day. Marie was an incredibly dear person who taught us so much about love and family through her endlessly warm and welcoming heart. We will all miss her terribly, but we have no doubt that she is now reunited with her loved ones in Heaven, particularly with the love of her life, her husband, Tony.

A visitation will be held at Casey-McCallum Rice Funeral Home, located at 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308, on January 28, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at St. Patrick's Church, 53 St Patricks Pl, New York, NY 10306, on January 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The committal service is scheduled for January 29, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 12:45 pm at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Ave, New York, NY 10309.
