Marilyn was born on August 8, 1946 to Margaret and Raymond Williams in Staten Island, NY. She graduated from Curtis High School. She worked a multitude of jobs mostly in the service industry of retail and restaurants, including JC Penney’s, Goldwyn Jewelers, Burger King, Everything Yogurt, Linens ‘N Things. She was a certified tax preparer and had worked for H&R Block.
She was married to the late Thomas Ricciardone. She is survived by her children, Michael along with his wife Lynda, Brian, Lisa Ann, and her dear partner Thomas Stollmeyer.
She was also predeceased by her brother Charlie Williams, sister Maggie Brown, her parents and several close friends.
Marilyn has served as treasurer and president of the PS19 PTA. She has been on several bowling teams and enjoyed the gym. Over the years she had several cats and a dog whom she cared for (mostly one at a time.) She enjoyed occasional trips to Atlantic City which is ironic because she disliked gambling. She had skills in cooking, sewing, and gardening. Her children especially enjoyed her pasta and Sunday sauce, a tradition that was passed down from her dear departed mother in-law Evelyn Ricciardone who would host family dinners every Sunday. She liked movies and enjoyed music as long it wasn’t too loud. She had been a parishioner at St. Mary’s, Mount Carmel, Good Council, and Blessed Sacrament. She had a kind caring demeanor and was well liked by all who met her. She enjoyed walking in Clove Lakes park and the occasional boardwalk. She liked the various parades that she would view a few blocks from her house.
