

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Martha Iris Trivizas, on February 1st, 2025. Born in 1940, she was a cherished member of our family the community, known for her dedication, faith and kindness.
She was born in Langue, Honduras and was a proud graduate of Maria Auxiliadora School where she received a bachelors equivalent in accounting. She moved to New York and worked as an accountant in the maritime industry for Kerr Steamship, TJ Stevenson, Simpson Spence & Young as well as starting General Marine Agencies with her husband, George.
A devoted mother, she treasured her family above all else. She was a proud grandmother, always eager to spend time with her grandchildren, sharing stories, wisdom, and unconditional love.
Martha was also a loving sister, maintaining close bonds with her siblings and offering unwavering support and care throughout her life. Her kindness, humility, and dedication to her loved ones were evident in everything she did.
She lived her life with faith, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to others, always putting the needs of her family and community first. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and strength, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, sister, and many dear friends and relatives. A private service will be held to honor her memory.
A visitation will be held at Casey-McCallum Rice Funeral Home, located at 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308, on February 5, 2025, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same venue at 10:45 am.
The committal service is scheduled for February 5, 2025, at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306, from 12:15 pm to 12:30 pm.
