MaryAnn Falcone Esposito passed away suddenly on June 27, 2025, at the age of 54. Born in Merrick, NY, she was a longtime resident of Manor Heights, Staten Island.
Beloved wife of 33 years to Gerard Esposito, MaryAnn was a devoted mother to Gerard Jr., Caitlin, and John. She was the cherished daughter of the late Mary and Anthony Falcone of Great Kills, and the loving sister of Nicholas and Laura Falcone, Vincent and Doreen Falcone, RoseMarie and Anthony Ciavattoni, AnnMarie and Larry Safranek, Anthony Falcone Jr., and Joseph and Maria Falcone. She was a proud aunt to 23 nieces and nephews and a great-aunt to 10.
A graduate of Susan E. Wagner High School in Manor Heights, MaryAnn was deeply rooted in her community. She served as President of the Susan E. Wagner Baseball Club and was a passionate supporter of the College of Staten Island Dolphins baseball team, generously giving her time to many fundraising efforts. She worked in the lunchroom at St. Dorothy Academy in Old Town, where she was a familiar and caring presence.
MaryAnn found joy in life’s simple pleasures—cheering on her children at their sports games, spending time with family, and hosting holiday gatherings filled with love and laughter. She was a diehard Yankees fan, a lover of the smell of old library books, an enthusiastic board game competitor, and a dedicated puzzle-maker.
Her warmth, generosity, and devotion to family and community touched the lives of so many. MaryAnn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Casey-McCallum Rice Funeral Home, located at 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308, on June 29, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the Church of Saint Rita, 281 Bradley Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314, on June 30, 2025, at 10:00 am.
The committal service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309, on June 30, 2025, at 11:30 am.
