Maryann Tupe

Born in New York City, Mrs. Tupe moved to Graniteville in 1958.

She was an assistant manager for the JCPenney company for over 35 years, retiring in 1997.

Mrs. Tupe was an active member of the Willowbrook chapter of the AARP and St. Roch church. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, gardening, crochet, trips to Atlantic city, and the New York Yankees. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Anson Tupe, and her siblings, Angelina Foder, Peter Maliani and Francis Saracino.

Surviving are two sons Michael and Gregory, daughters in law Linda and Anna, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be on Saturday September 19th from Casey Funeral home with a mass at 10AM in St Roch Church. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery in West Brighton. Donations in her name may be made to the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314, US, on September 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Sts. Adalbert & Roch Roman Catholic Church, 602 Port Richmond Ave, New York, NY 10302, US, on September 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Committal Service at St. Peters Cemetery, 52 Tyler Ave, New York, NY 10310, US, on September 19, 2026, from 11:30 am to 11:45 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
