MaryEllen Mackintosh

Adored wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Wife of the late William T. Mackintosh, they had been married for 55 years. She is survived by her children Elizabeth Mackintosh Gottlieb (Ross), Matthew R. Mackintosh (Rachel), the pride of her life, her honored granddaughters, Ashley Loren Gottlieb and Caroline Megan Gottlieb, her sister Helen Myers DeSantis and Goddaughter Dominique DeSantis. She will also be missed by her sisters-in-law Kathy Mackintosh Myers (Robert) and Marylou Mackintosh Mishler (Ray), brother-in-law Kenneth Mackintosh (Ben) and many nieces and nephews.

MaryEllen worked in the insurance industry in Manhattan for over 35 years. She was an avid bowler, bowling at Rabs in the Sunday Family League and the Manic Monday Ladies League. MaryEllen also helped run the 50/50 for the Tuesday & Thursday Senior men’s league. She also never met a stranger. She was a loving, funny, giving soul to all she met. MaryEllen will be missed by her family and the many friends she treated as family over the years.
